Many times I have people
ask me what my home church in Yakima, Washington, is like. First,
you need to know that I do not lead a local church, so if you visit
Yakima you probably will not hear me preaching unless it just
happens to be a Sunday when I am the invited guest speaker. I left
the pastorate over 20 years ago and since then have been spending
most of my time traveling and ministering to churches all over the
world. When I am home, my wife and I attend a great Foursquare
Church. Most of the other Worldcast staff members attend other local
churches, but we have close relationships throughout the Christian
community in our region. It really is an amazingly united community
and there are at least seven different local churches at which I
regularly minister.
The Foursquare Church which Linda and I belong to has over 1,000
precious people attending and our senior pastor is David Edler.
David not only leads our congregation, but he is also the elected
mayor of our city. It is pretty cool having the mayor preach to you
on Sundays. He is also an amazing credit to the present Christian
movement in the marketplace.
If you are interested in tasting of our home church here is a
recent message
Pastor David Edler gave on the subject of healing wounds inflicted
within the family.
